With summer travel busy and one-way fares to Nuuk, Greenland sky high on United Airlines, getting to Greenland from Southern California was not as straightforward as stepping onto a nonstop flight.
40K miles for economy class was a lot better than the $1,600 price-tag for the ticket, though the routing I ended up, with all flights on United, was less than ideal:
I may arrive tired in Greenland, but I think the adrenaline rush of visiting a new place will fuel me to hit the ground running.
