Marriott Bonvoy has just launched its newest promotion on purchased points, which is only the program’s third such offer of the year. Different members seem to be eligible for different offers, with a typical bonus range of 40-50%. While it’s not for everyone, it has the potential to represent a good deal, so let’s go over the details.
It seems the two most common offers are for a 40% or 50% bonus, and in both cases, you can unlock the bigger bonus if you buy at least 40,000 points in one transaction.
Do note that Marriott Bonvoy lets you share up to 100,000 points per year with another member, which could be an opportunity to potentially acquire even more points.
