Thailand cannot quite decide what kind of tourists it wants, for how long or how often, even though the country’s tourism sector is struggling.
The cabinet announced in May that it would cut the visa-free entry period from 60 days to 30 days for nationals of 93 countries (read more here), and also limit the yearly number of visa-free entries to just 2 (read more here). However, the latter may apply only to border crossings.
