Design Hotels has signed agreements with the owners of 16 hotels operated by Palisociety, the Los Angeles-based independent hospitality company, marking the largest single portfolio addition in the Marriott-affiliated brand’s history.
The properties span nine U.S. destinations and represent more than 1,000 total rooms and suites. They will join the Design Hotels portfolio in the coming months, with all properties also set to join Marriott Bonvoy, the loyalty program of Marriott International, which owns Design Hotels.
The deal pushes Design Hotels past 100 properties across the Americas this year. Founded in Los Angeles in 2008 by Avi Brosh, Palisociety operates a collection of more than 20 hotels, residences, and restaurants known for bespoke design, neighborhood-inspired programming, and a distinctly independent point of view. The brand’s portfolio comprises five sub-brands: Palihouse, Palihotel, Le Petit Pali, ARRIVE by Palisociety, and an assortment of independently branded properties.
