Travel Advisors Pick the Best Wedding and Honeymoon Resorts in 2026

Sunshine? Check. Scenic views? Check. Giant arrangements of white roses and gypsophila? Why not? An overwater villa somewhere impossibly blue? Yes — maybe a floating breakfast if we’re really committing to the bit.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that’s essentially all you need for a luxury wedding and honeymoon. And while all that sounds wonderful, couples are increasingly seeking less cookie-cutter luxury packages and more bespoke experiences that feel more immersive, more private and, frankly, more interesting.

The latest wave of luxury openings across North America and the Caribbean reflects that divergence away from run-of-the-mill luxury reeking of staged perfection. The focus now is on privacy, space, emotional connection to place, and experiences that feel impossible to replicate elsewhere. Some hotel destinations succeed at this better than others, and we’ve compiled a list of the newest and very best.

A great solo travel tip spotted this week on Luxury Travel Advisor.
