Whine Wednesdays: Time Limitation Window To Enter Secure Area At The Airport

This week’s Whine Wednesday is about a very annoying feature that some airports have implemented to reduce the number of people in the departure zone, limited time windows to enter the sterile area with a valid boarding pass.

It’s not uncommon that you try to go through security and get rejected because you arrived at the airport “too early” and have to wait until your access window opens.

I had this experience not too long ago at Hannover Airport in Germany, where I was quite early in the morning, as I had to deal with a rental car, and my boarding pass was for the evening hours.

A great solo travel tip spotted this week on LoyaltyLobby.
