Seabourn Encore Makes Maiden Voyage to Alaska for Summer 2026

Seabourn kicked off its 2026 Alaska season with Seabourn Encore’s maiden arrival to Vancouver, marking the first time the luxury ship will sail in the region. The deployment represents a key expansion of Seabourn’s established Alaska program.

Between May and September 2026, Seabourn Encore will operate a series of seven to 14-day voyages between Vancouver and Juneau, sailing into narrow fjords, remote waterways, and coastal communities beyond the reach of larger ships. The 2026 program is designed to provide deeper access to Alaska, with itineraries that move between iconic ports and lesser-known destinations. In addition to calls in places such as Juneau and Ketchikan, the ship explores more remote areas, including Alert Bay, the Inian Islands and quieter stretches of the Alaska and Canadian Inside Passage not accessible to larger vessels. Every voyage will feature glacier viewing, and will include more opportunities to visit Glacier Bay National Park than any other luxury cruise line.

“The arrival of Seabourn Encore in Alaska is an important milestone for Seabourn,” said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn. “The ship is exceptionally well suited for this destination with her size and design allowing guests to have a more immersive experience in Alaska and bringing them closer to the landscapes, wildlife and communities that make Alaska so compelling.”
