I spent two nights at Park Hyatt Jakarta, a lovely and inexpensive luxury hotel in the center of world’s most populous city that offers superb accommodations and amenities at an excellent price point.
You enter the lower lobby at street level and are directed to a hotel up to the hotel reception on floor 23.
My flight departed at 5:30 am from Jakarta so it’s not like I needed a late checkout and I wasn’t in the mood to dicker over a suite even though there were still many for sale…I wish the hotel had been more proactive, though, in offering one.
